I have terrific news. I’ve been given a fellowship to Jentel Arts in Banner, Wyoming for one month in the fall. For a writer or a visual artist, this is like winning the lottery. It is a pure gift of time, room & board. Take a look, Jentel. Jentel Arts is located on a 1000 acre ranch next to the Big Horn Mountains in northern Wyoming.
When I was a fellow at Hawthornden Castle in Scotland for a month, I was shocked and pleased by the amount of writing that I did. But then, consider the situation. You are far away from home, someone else is taking care of you, and your sole purpose is to write. Like I said, it is a rare gift and I am so grateful.
